The slogan is an invitation to the community, to mainstream society and to policy makers to join in with Christopher Street Day, especially in the electoral year 2017: for a free and equal society standing in solidarity, for cultural openness and the acceptance of differences, for gender diversity and equal rights for sexual minorities.
