Besides the gay pride there are some other events in Hamburg we would like to recommend to you:

International Queer Film Festival

17 - 22 October 2017

By showing movies dealing with LGBT topics the film festival is another important event in Hamburg that supports education and diversity. But not only for a “local” audience, it is an international festival presenting great movies and is welcoming actors, producers and guests from all over the world.


Winter Pride - Hamburg´s Gay Christmas Market

27 Nov - 30 Dec 2017 (except 24 to 26 Dec)

You can say that Christmas markets are a very special German invention. In Hamburg you also have a Christmas market for the LGBT community and friends in the city’s “queerest” district St. Georg. The WINTER PRIDE is a central meeting point for a few weeks where you can have hot wine punch of course, but also good food. A numerous amount of show acts are entertaining all guests during the weekend, too! So, be sure to feel entertained and to meet interesting people during the Advent season.


Electro Pride Winter Edition

December 2nd, 2017

Best electronic music wait for you at the Electro Pride Party at the Übel & Gefährlich – the popular event that is known as a party during the Hamburg pride week will take place in winter for the first time.
This is the line up that will make you dance all the night:

Harbour Pride - HafenGAYburtstag

10 -13 May 2018

Hamburg is famous for its harbour with a long and important history. Therefore the city welcomes a lot of guests from all over the world to celebrate the harbour and its meaning with a lot of booths along the Elbe each year. Since 2014 there also is an area for the LGBT community named “Harbour Pride”. A good opportunity to show presence and to celebrate diversity, too with info booths and an own stage for entertaining show acts.


Stadtfest St. Georg

End of May 2018

Spring and summer time is also the time for a lot of street festivals in Hamburg. And of course Hamburg’s “queerest” district St. Georg is having its own street festival, too. What awaits you there: Information booths of LGBT organizations, music stages, gastronomy booths from our community as well as small businesses presenting their handcraft.
